2009 Road State Championships

What a great weekend for TPR in Ocala, FL! This was the last race of the season & the road state championships. Our team had great results throughout the year and Ocala was no exception.

Mateo Zuluaga (AKA: Bianchito) - Is the 2009 Junior Florida Road State Champion taking his victory passing one of the top riders in the state/country (former national junior champion)


Willy Gonzalez (AKA: Chilly Willy) - took 3rd place in the masters 35+. Making it to the finish after a horrible crash in the last corner that took out most of the field including our very own Noe Gonzalez (He was taken to the hospital, but later released)


For Saturday’s race we also had the following riders racing: Jose Hernandez, Peter Carlos, Fernando Garcia, Fernando Acevedo, and Jennifer who was our only girl that could race. All had great races and displayed our team name and colors high (the best do not always win)
